Lasting Stage Stories

Editorial policy

Lasting Stage Stories aims to publish clear, considered material about personal storytelling and memory. We explain what a piece can support, distinguish fact from interpretation and correct meaningful errors openly.

Accuracy and context

We check factual statements against suitable sources where possible and make the limits of an account clear. A remembered story is presented as someone's recollection, not automatically as a complete record. When accounts differ, we describe the difference without inventing a resolution.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Any paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled near the content. Partner placements are identified as such, and a partnership does not guarantee coverage or a favourable view.

Corrections

Readers can report an error through the Contact page. We review specific, relevant details and correct substantive mistakes, clarifying the change where appropriate. We do not silently present a disputed recollection as settled fact.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with AI tools. When an illustration is AI-generated, we label it. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence of a person, event or historical object.

Why we listen

Every story changes a little as it travels

Listening carefully helps us notice what matters to the person telling it. We make room for uncertainty, different memories and the meaning a story holds now.
